Job title: Office/Practice Manager 

Job Description: 

  • Streamlining and procuring practice functions smoothly and build relations with clientele. 
  • Organise and schedule events, working with internal and external members as necessary 
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodation for team members as required 
  • Support on administrative needs covering a broad range of operational requirements; including coordinating events, supporting recruitment activity and onboarding of new colleagues.  
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and conduct proactive safety inspections. 
  • Ensure proper functioning of office technology, including MS Teams and meeting room equipment. 
  • Collaborate with various teams and departments for seamless operations and liaise with facility management vendors, cleaning services, and catering services. 
  • Assist in scheduling meetings, appointments, and managing diaries. 
  • Provide administrative support to management and teams, including document preparation and record-keeping including managing office budgets and expenses. 
  • oversee teams annual leave/unpaid leave/sick leave to mitigate disruption to projects and maintain team well-being 
  • Manage a busy email inbox, prioritise messages, and ensure important communications are promptly addressed. 
  • Handle general administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls, managing correspondence, and maintaining office supplies. 
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external enquiries, ensuring a professional response. 

Person specification: 

  • Minimum 3 years of managerial experience in accounting firm is required. 
  • Demonstrated experience in busy Accounting practice. 
  • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively. 
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities. Strong attention to detail. 
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills, proficient in using technology. Familiarity with finance, budgeting, and accounting practices. 
  • Expertise in inventory management and control. 
  • Proactive leadership style, ability to drive team to achieve results. 
  • Fluent in English and proficiency in Asian languages such as Urdu, Punjabi, and Mirpuri to communicate with customers. 
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends. 

Salary: £28,000.00 per year
